Bathroom Renovation
This project is located in the Lower Dimond district of Oakland, near the Central Reservoir. Our client, a pediatric nurse with a passion for cooking and traveling, dreamed of transforming the full bathroom in her 3-bedroom home into an inviting, peaceful haven where she could relax and unwind after her full days.
We designed and renovated the bathroom to create the ultimate tranquil sanctuary, drawing inspiration from the warm, soothing colors of a desert sunset.
Though we didn’t add square footage, we created a sense of spaciousness with our selections. A large format floor tile with a gray terracotta-look, paired with vertically-stacked ceramic tiles on the walls, opens up the space. We selected a beautiful oak base cabinet with concrete top and a round vessel sink for the vanity. A brushed gold Moen faucet, frameless medicine cabinet, and a dainty green pendant light fixture enhance the space’s softness and femininity.
For a relaxing, spa-worthy experience, we chose a deep soaking tub and brushed gold fixtures. To enhance the functionality of the bathroom, a convenient built-in nook in the shower wall provides a tidy space for bathing necessities. We also selected acacia wood shelves with brass hardware that serve as naturally beautiful yet practical storage.
This fully reimagined bathroom now provides a warm, soothing refuge where our client can enjoy her everyday rituals and nurture her wellbeing.
